Tom Maxwell earned his bachelor of music degree in voice performance at the Ohio State University. He has appeared professionally in opera, oratorio, and musical theater with local and regional companies. He returned to OSU to study accounting and computer sciences, earning his CPA. He is currently employed at AEP in the IT Systems Planning Division as a Business Systems Analyst.
Sharon Watkins is a graduate of Whetstone High School where she directs the vocal music program. Mrs. Watkins acquired her Bachelor of Music Education from the Ohio State University as a percussion major. Upon graduation she worked at Watterson High School as the band director. When the Watkins children came along she worked in area elementary and middle schools including Clintonville Academy and Xenos Christian Schools, teaching band, general and vocal music. During this time Sharon earned her Masters in Music Education with a Kodaly Emphasis from Capital University, which included a focus on vocal pedagogy, folk music, and a three week study in Europe at the Kodaly Institute in Kescemet, Hungary.
